All registrations must be submitted by July 31, 2025.
Watervliet Youth Soccer League aims to provide a secure and engaging environment where kids can learn the values of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship. We focus on building strength and character in every participating child.
Our league thrives thanks to dedicated volunteers who ensure it positively impacts our children’s lives. We offer a healthy activity for kids, bring the community together, and provide entertainment.
Fall Recreational Program
This program, running in September and October, is about learning soccer skills and having fun through games and practices. It’s open to kids in kindergarten through 6th grade.
The registration fee covers a uniform (jersey and socks) and a participation award. Players need to bring their own black shorts.
Age Divisions (All teams are co-ed):
- Division 1 – U12: For 11 & 12-year-olds (born between Jan 1, 2013, and Dec 31, 2014)
- Division 2 – U10: For 9 & 10-year-olds (born between Jan 1, 2015, and Dec 31, 2016)
- Division 3 – U8: For 7 & 8-year-olds (born between Jan 1, 2017, and Dec 31, 2018)
- Soccer Academy for 5 and 6-year-olds (must be 5 by Sep 1, 2025.
- Our program for 5 and 6-year-old kids offers structured training sessions led by professional trainers. Each session focuses on developing fundamental soccer skills through fun and engaging activities. Following the training, the kids participate in small-format scrimmages to practice their new skills in a game setting. Join us to kickstart your child's soccer journey in a supportive and dynamic environment!
- 4-year-old Clinic: Each session focuses on developing fundamental soccer skills through fun and engaging activities led by professional instructors. Player must be 4 years of age by Sept. 1 2025
Dates and Costs:
- The program runs for 6 weeks with games on Saturdays (makeup games possible on Sundays).
Registration Cost:
Register May 1 - June 30 $70 per Child
Register July 1 - July 31 $75 per Child
Register after July 31 $80 per Child

*4 year old clinic cost $55 per child*
Family Discount
2 children $130 (same family/household)
3+ children $150 (same family/household)

Game schedules will be announced after team rosters are set and will be available on our website and through coaches.
As soon as schedules are finalized, they will be communicated to coaches and posted on the website.

Summer Soccer Clinic - Get Ready For Rec!
Summer clinic will consist of 4 sessions. Sessions will be held 7/7, 7/9, 7/14, & 7/16 @ Watervliet High School on the turf field from 5:30pm - 7pm.
Sessions will be run by Professional Coaches from Beestera Soccer Training and Coaches from Arsenal City FC.
Registration is open to players from 6 to 16 years of age.
Cost is $30 for ages 6-8 and $40 for ages 9-16.
Price includes all 4 sessions!
